Last week was a really big week for Mike. Now he is over the hill a year older and I’ll admit, since he was wise enough already, so I’m glad he didn’t get any wiser. I was looking around for something to get him for his birthday and came across “Tetris World” from the PS2. I thought it might be fun. Then I remembered the horrible Tetris flashbacks I had while doing anything–figuring out where pieces would fit in the grand scheme of the world.
In real life, Tetris is a lot more fun. Case in point–yesterday I had to fill up my truck with the last full load of our “stuff” from the apartment. Who knew that you could fit two large bins in the 40% side of a 60/40 split back seat? Not just on top of each other–next to each other. Thanks, Ford! It was amusing to watch Mike, also, figuring out how I had loaded the truck in the first place. Well, I had three pieces of furniture, a lamp, a worktable, a tool box, 5 bins, and a cable box… they kind of resembled tetris pieces. Ah the joys of moving.
We’re not moving again for a long time and next time, we’re hiring goons.
we got hit again overnight friday to saturday. after i got done shoveling saturday afternoon, i thought i’d take a few pictures.
