Notes: this is my daily driver. the seat angle of the first row makes it a little tight for the kids to climb in and out themselves, but once in, they’re fine. as they get older and switch to boosters (and then no seat at all) they’ll get lower, which means more room for them.
Notes
accidentally shoveled off of the deck, this tugboat will be floating on snowy seas until spring.
wanted to emphasize the contrast. this was smooth snow yesterday, a full day of sun melted it this way.
8-10" snowblowed, as soon as the (cloud-filtered) sunlight hit the dark driveway it started taking care of the rest. a quickly slushy shovel and we’re done.
literally and … literally. upwards and outwards. as i previously posted about in leveling off, i’ve been working on the backyard. it was previously a puddle in a drainage area from our woods, and not really much of a yard. (we have a large front yard, except it’s at a 25-30 degree angle).
anyway, i dug up a photo of that area from the ice storm, very watery:
and immediately after i dug everything out and filled it in with good soil:
and now, it (and most of the area around it) has been fertilized and seeded (and watered):
this weird substance… it almost looks like… grass!
looks like grass to me too!
