i hurt everywhere
so, 29 total hours into the kitchen & miscellany this weekend (15 saturday, 14 sunday). got the wainscoting demo’ed, rehung the cabinets, demo’ed countertops, demo’ed sink, installed plywood/hardibacker. our kitchen/bathroom/tile/interior decorator got started on the tile on countertops and backsplashes - 1/2 the kitchen is tiled now.
oh, in brief interludes i also mowed the lawn, built a large pressure-treated planter, thatch raked and reseeded parts of the lawn. ugh.
grout is going in on 1/2 tonight, tile on the other 1/2. we should have a working kitchen sink by wednesday!
35 Days until our trip. kitchen will be done this week. bathroom is next!
Dang, boy! You’re making me tired just reading this. My wife and I spent a weekend prepping and painting the front hallway and we were ready for a two week vacation. Guess that’s what happens when you get old…
